27 People Now Infected With Hepatitis C from Exeter Hospital
With 1,213 hepatitis C tests completed, 27 people have now been identified as having contracted hepatitis C from the Exeter Hospital hepatiis C outbreak stemming from their cardiac catheterization lab. Health officials still believe the outbreak is the result of a drug-abusing employee. Approximately 100 potential hepatitis C victims remain untested.
An ongoing criminal investigation regarding the hepatitis C outbreak by the NH Attorney General’s office and the office of the US attorney.
