Bow Doctor Accused of Sexually Assaulting Two Patients, Found Dead
Dr. Steven Chern, accused of raping two female patients, was found dead in Meredith yesterday. Another alleged victim, a teenaged girl, has also come forward and accused the former doctor of sexual abuse.
According to the Union Leader, “Chern, who most recently lived in Northwood, was scheduled to be arraigned today in Merrimack County Superior Court in Concord on five indictments accusing him of sexually assaulting a teenage patient while he treated her at Bow Mills Family Practice from 2009 to 2010.”
The circumstances surrounding Chern’s death are still not available at this time.
