Former Exeter Hospital Tech Gets 39 Years in Prison
David Kwiatkowski received a prison sentence of 39 years today. Prior to being sentenced by federal Judge Joseph LaPlante, Kwiatkowski’s victims related the pain, anger and suffering he caused as a result of his crimes. According to the Associated Press, one victim, Linda Ficken, 71, of Andover, Kansas reported that she has recently learned last month that her brother was diagnosed with leukemia and was told he needs a stem cell transplant. While siblings often are the closest match, she can’t donate because of her hepatitis C status.
