Ob/Gynecology 9%
Psychiatry 8%
Cardiology 6%
Pediatrics 5%
Emergency Medicine 4%
Oncology 4%
Anesthesiology 3%
Diabetes & Endocrinology 3%
General Surgery 3%
Orthopedics 3%
35% of medical malpractice lawsuits involved failure to diagnose (17% failure to treat) and 62% of the physician respondents reported that the lawsuit result was fair.
