VERDICT/SETTLEMENT
Facts/Liability:
On his way to work, in the early morning hours of December 8, 2006, the plaintiff was the victim of a savage hit-and-run accident in Windham, New Hampshire. In the accident, the entire driver’s side of the plaintiff’s vehicle was crushed and the side impact airbags deployed. Our client suffered injuries to the left side of his body and had to be extricated from his vehicle by the jaws of life. He was emergently transported to a local medical center. At the hospital, he was found to have suffered multiple left rib fractures and a grade II-III splenic laceration.

Verdict/Settlement: The driver who struck our client was eventually identified and his insurance company, State Farm Insurance, settled the motor vehicle claim for the $100,000.00 policy limits without suit being filed.
